šŸ¦ The Gorilla Smash Method — Developed By Sensei Liam Musiak

The Gorilla Smash Method is a two-stage anatomical destruction system I created, built around overwhelming force, structural collapse, and targeting the opponent’s foundation before finishing the fight at the top. It’s simple, brutal, and designed for when you’re attacking with full commitment.

The structure is:

1ļøāƒ£ Lower Region — Destroy the Base

(legs, knees, ankles, adductors, quadriceps, hamstrings)

2ļøāƒ£ Upper Region — Shut Down the Head & Neck

(nasal bone, maxilla, mandible, orbital ridge, cervical structures)

You attack the legs first to remove mobility and balance, then attack the head and neck to finish the fight decisively. That’s the order I prefer — but like all my methods, it can be adapted or mixed depending on the situation.

1ļøāƒ£ Lower Region – Collapse the Structure

This phase targets the anatomical structures that keep a human standing. When the legs fail, the fight ends instantly.

Key targets include:

  • Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL)

  • Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL)

  • Meniscus

  • Quadriceps tendon

  • Patella and patellar tendon

  • Common peroneal nerve (side of leg leading to foot drop)

Your goal is to attack with explosive downward or oblique force — the type that breaks structure fast.

2ļøāƒ£ Upper Region – Shut Down the Threat

After destroying the legs, the second strike goes into the upper anatomy. This includes:

  • Nasal bone

  • Maxilla

  • Zygomatic arch

  • Mandible

  • Temporomandibular region

  • Cervical musculature and alignment

These targets cause massive disruption: disorientation, pain shock, airway compromise, and rapid neurological shutdown.

šŸ’„ One Example of the Gorilla Smash Method in Action

Here’s one way to use this method — not the only way, just a demonstration of how the sequence works:

Step 1 — Base Destroyer

A sideways–downward elbow strike (driving your bodyweight through the ulna) into the lateral knee joint line, targeting the:

  • LCL,

  • lateral meniscus, and

  • common peroneal nerve.

This combination can cause the knee to buckle, collapse, or instantly fail. The peroneal nerve strike alone can cause temporary paralysis or ā€œfoot drop.ā€

Step 2 — Upper Finisher

As they drop or stumble, you step in and deliver a horizontal elbow smash straight into the nasal bone and upper maxilla.

This can:

  • break the nose,

  • disrupt the sinus cavity,

  • cause massive disorientation,

  • induce pain shock, and

  • drop the opponent fully.

This is one example — the Gorilla Smash Method has many variations, but all follow the same principle:

Break the base → Break the top.
