When I think about what the 2025 Global Recognition Award™ really means, it goes far beyond a certificate or a headline. 🌍

It means Voracious Karate has been officially recognised as one of the best and most innovative martial arts organisations in the world. Not opinion, not hype — but proven through a rigorous evaluation system that scored us 5/5 across every single category.

At just 20 years old and 2nd Dan, that’s a strange and surreal thing to take in. Normally, awards on this level are given to 50+ year-old 7th, 8th or 9th Dans with decades behind them. And yet, the panel made it clear: what we’ve built here is unusual, exceptional, and worthy of international recognition now — not in another 30 years.

They highlighted that our 1st Dan syllabus has set a new benchmark globally for what martial arts education should look like. And they pointed to the fact that our students report life-changing growth, not just skill improvement. That impact is what made Voracious Karate stand out on a worldwide stage.

So when people ask me what this award means, the answer is simple:It means Voracious Karate isn’t just another karate club. It’s a dojo that is leading the way internationally, modernising martial arts while protecting its traditions — and setting the new standard for what martial arts should be in the real world.
