Level 1 Sensei Qualification – Voracious Karate

Available to Brown Belts and Above

This is the first of three instructor development levels within the Voracious Karate teaching pathway.

To complete Level 1, candidates must demonstrate all required components within 6 months of enrolment.

Eligibility

• Open to Brown Belts and above (minimum age: 16)

• Must be an active student of Voracious Karate

• Teaching fundamentals: how to structure warm-ups, drills, and combinations

• Assisting Sensei Liam during classes

• Demonstrating techniques clearly and confidently

• Explaining techniques, concepts, and methods up to Brown Belt level

• Holding pads safely and giving basic corrections

• Leading a short section of class under observation

• Written reflection on the role and responsibilities of a Sensei (minimum 300 words)

Level 1 proves you’re ready to support others, explain techniques clearly, and start your journey as a future instructor.

It’s not about authority — it’s about leadership, clarity, and example.

Time Frame: 6 months

Requirement: All components must be completed to advance to Level 2
